Artists' Union of Armenia

The Union was established on November 10, 1932.

The first congress took place in 1945. Between 1945 and 2018, 19 congresses were held. In 2018, at the 19th Congress of the Artists’ Union of Armenia held at the Cinema House in Yerevan, Suren Safaryan was elected Chairman of the Union.
Book design is the art of incorporating the content, style, format, design, and sequence of the various components of a book into a coherent whole. In the words of Jan Tschichold, "Methods and rules that cannot be improved upon have been developed over centuries. To produce perfect books, these rules must be revived and applied." The front matter, or preliminaries, is the first section of a book and typically has the fewest pages. While all pages are counted, page numbers are generally not printed, whether the pages are blank or contain content.
The cooperation aims to develop cultural and creative programs, as well as to attract investments for the development of the Union.
It was also noted that the parties will jointly participate in the development and promotion of the activities of the prominent figure of the Armenian and Chinese peoples, Vardan Mamikonian.

The parties agreed to establish working groups to implement specific jointly developed programs.
